The First of Many

Published by Calley under Goodstuff Edit This

When I’m having a raunchy day I like to watch Mr. Bean. He’s hilarious! He never fails to make me happy. It really doesn’t take much to amuse me. The thing that I like most about Mr. Bean is that he never has to say anything to make people laugh. It’s all about his funky facial expressions, his crazy antics, and his unique style of acting. I think that a lot of times we communicate in that way as well, whether we realize it or not. Often times we think that when we don’t say anything at all we aren’t communicating, but sometimes I think that silence is louder than words. I believe that both ways of conversing are acceptable because we need to be selectively silent. I’m pretty sure Mr. Bean doesn’t even realize the things that he teaches me and I’m pretty sure that I’m the only one who thinks this way.

Anyways, school has begun once again and so far things are alright. I’m enjoying living in the “city.” My classes are interesting. I got a part time job working in the periodicals at the library that has four stories. Isn’t that amazing? A school this size and the library only has four stories. Nobody understands my jokes. So I should just stop trying. I catch myself comparing schools a lot and I really shouldn’t because there’s pros and cons to all of them. At Prov I had no trouble finding my car in the parking lot of about twenty cars. Here there’s like twenty rows of cars. It takes me forever to find my car. It’s just crazy! The thing I love most about this place is that I have family here. I don’t know what I would do without my family.

In a couple of weeks we are having this special family get together to celebrate my aunt’s birthday and by the sounds of it, most of the family is going to be there. It’s supposed to be a surprise so if your reading this Marilyn, SURPRISE! It’s nice to have something positive to look forward to. The last time we were all together was at my other aunt’s funeral.

Lord with you there’s nothing I cannot do.
