This morning I found my acceptance letter from the University in my mail box. I’ve been waiting forever for that. I applied in March and they are just giving me this information now and it’s July and school starts in August so that doesn’t give me much time to get everything ready. The last two schools I’ve attended accepted me within the same month that I sent the application. Does it really take five months for an application to be processed? I was just about to give up on the idea and start my apartment/job shopping. I absolutely hate waiting!
I love to watch “Headlines” on the Jay Leno show. Incase you don’t know what “Headlines” are I shall explain them to you. They hilarious misprinted adds from newspapers, magazines, and other forms of media. Years ago I found one that I wanted to send in but didn’t because I think I’m the only one that thinks it’s funny. It was a sales add for sweatshirts and it had a picture of the shirt and a caption underneath that read “…comes with two sleeves.” If it didn’t come with two sleeves it would be considered a sweater vest of some sort, or maybe they just wanted to make sure that the viewers knew that it came with more than one sleeve.
